Senior Iranian security official says no missiles fired at Israel after ceasefire went into effect

\nA senior security official in Iran has told CNN that after 7:30 a.m. local time (12:00 a.m. ET), “no missiles have been fired at the enemy so far.”<\/p>\n
In his initial announcement about the Iran-Israel ceasefire, US President Donald Trump said the truce would begin around six hours from his first social media message announcing the breakthrough, which placed the timing close to 12:00 a.m. ET.<\/p>\n
“If Israel makes a mistake, all occupied territories will be attacked, just like an hour before the war stopped,” the Iranian official said.<\/p>\n

State-linked Nour News also ran the denial.<\/p>\n Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said earlier that Israel “will respond with force” after Iran\u2019s “utter violation” of the ceasefire declared by US President Donald Trump, adding that it will “continue the intensive operation to strike” Tehran.<\/p>\n Eyal Zamir, chief of staff of the Israel Defense<\/a> Forces (IDF), said that “in light of the severe violation of the ceasefire carried out by the Iranian regime, we will respond with force.”<\/p>\n
