Vietnam cold storage construction case: efficient and intelligent solutions promote the development of agricultural product cold chain

With the rapid development of Vietnam’s economy, the scale of agriculture and food processing industry continues to expand. In particular, as an important agricultural production base in Southeast Asia, more and more companies need efficient cold chain logistics systems to ensure the quality of agricultural products and extend their shelf life. In order to support the development of local agriculture in Vietnam, a Vietnamese agricultural product export company commissioned us to design and build a cold storage system, requiring an efficient, environmentally friendly and intelligent management cold chain solution. The project is located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and is a company that mainly exports tropical fruits and vegetables. Because Vietnam’s climate is relatively hot and the freshness of agricultural products is the key to its export competitiveness, the company needs a cold chain system to ensure that the temperature and humidity of agricultural products are accurately controlled throughout the entire process from harvesting to transportation to ensure the best quality.

 

Customer needs:

Precise temperature and humidity control: Since different agricultural products (such as tropical fruits, vegetables, etc.) have different requirements for temperature and humidity, customers hope that the cold storage can accurately control these parameters to ensure that the storage environment can reach the best state for all kinds of agricultural products.

Efficient cold storage management: Customers hope that the cold storage system can achieve intelligent management, including real-time monitoring of temperature and humidity, automatic alarm and remote control functions to improve management efficiency.

Energy saving and environmental protection: Since the electricity price in Vietnam has been rising year by year, customers hope to reduce electricity consumption and reduce operating costs through energy-saving technology.

Long-term stability: Considering the long storage period of agricultural products, the cold storage system needs to have the ability to operate stably for a long time to avoid economic losses caused by system failures.

  1. Solution: Intelligent design and green energy-saving technology

To meet customer needs, we provide customized cold storage construction solutions, combined with the latest intelligent control technology and energy-saving equipment to ensure that the cold storage operates efficiently and environmentally friendly.

 

Cold storage design and layout:

Partition storage: We designed multiple temperature control partitions according to the storage requirements of different agricultural products. Each area is set with different temperature and humidity conditions according to the type of fruits, vegetables or other agricultural products stored. For example, tropical fruits require higher humidity and moderate temperature, while vegetables require lower temperature and drier environment.

Intelligent temperature control system: Each storage area in the cold storage is equipped with a precise temperature and humidity control system, which can adjust and monitor temperature and humidity in real time to ensure that all kinds of products are stored in the most suitable environment. Through the intelligent system, managers can check the operating status of each area at any time and automatically alarm when abnormalities occur.

Intelligent management platform: Customers can monitor the temperature and humidity, equipment operation status, etc. in the cold storage in real time through the remote intelligent platform, which is convenient for daily management and problem troubleshooting.

Equipment selection and installation:

High-efficiency and energy-saving refrigeration equipment: We selected high-efficiency variable frequency refrigeration equipment for customers and adopted advanced refrigeration technology to ensure that the equipment adjusts the load according to actual needs during operation to achieve energy-saving effects. Compared with traditional refrigeration equipment, this system can reduce electricity consumption by up to 30%.

Environmentally friendly materials and equipment: The building materials and equipment of the cold storage meet environmental protection standards. We use fluorine-free refrigerants and green environmentally friendly insulation materials to reduce the impact on the environment.

Automated monitoring system: We provide customers with a 24-hour automated monitoring system to track temperature and humidity changes in the cold storage in real time, automatically adjust equipment operation, and manage through remote control.

System integration and debugging:

After the construction of the cold storage was completed, we carried out detailed integration and debugging of all systems, including the refrigeration system, temperature and humidity control system, and monitoring system. The operating conditions of all equipment have been fully tested to ensure that the cold storage can maintain stable operation under various load conditions.
